1 1/2 cups of chopped onion |
1 1/2 cups of diced celery |
1 stick of butter or 1/2 cup of margarine |
1 teaspoon of poultry seasoning |
1 teaspoon of rubber sage |
1 teaspoon of salt |
a dash of ground black pepper |
1/2 cup of water or chicken broth (i prefer the chicken broth but you can use either) |
8 cups of dried bread crumbs (10 to 12 slices of bread, cubed and *dried over night) |
* if you dont want to leave the bread over night toast the bread in the toaster, it works just as well and is alot faster. |
