Ingredients:

  • sift together and reserve
  • 2 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • beat until fluffy
  • 3/4 cup shortening
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla & 1/2 tsp almond flavoring
  • 1 hour or until firm

Directions:

  1. Roll: To 1/8 inch thickness, keeping unused dough chilled
  2. Until ready to roll.
  3. Cut into desired shapes
  4. Bake on greased cookie sheet (Pam) at 375 for 8 – 10 mins or until pale color appears
  5. Decorate with colored frostings
  6. Makes about 4 dozen 3 inch cookies
