Hoasabis Spicy Guava Bbq Wings

Ingredients:

  • hoasabi''s guava bbq sauce
  • 1 small can of tidbits pineapple + juice
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp. minced haberno peppers or any kind of peppers or hot spices you like (jalapeno should be just as good)
  • 2-3 tbsp. ketchup
  • 2 tbsp. minced garlic
  • the wings

Directions:

  1. For the BBQ sauce, put everything in a sauce pan and cook until the guava is dissolved. Set aside
  2. Heat oven to 375 degrees
  3. Meanwhile, boil the chicken wings for about 10-15 min. Season the water with a bit salt
  4. Take out and drain to make sure there are no excessive water left on the wings
  5. Place on pan and smother it with butter (This will give it that extra crisp and flavor)
  6. Put in oven for about 5 min. and then baste the wings with the bbq sauce
  7. Repeat and cook the wings for about 25+ min. until it is crisp, ooey and gooey
  8. Enjoy!
