Ingredients:

  1. -BiscuitPreparation-.
  2. Sift the flour, baking powder, and the salt together into a bowl.
  3. Smooth in butter until you have a mixture of fine crumbs.
  4. Add in the chives and parsley, mixing well.
  5. Add the milk and stir it in until just combined.
  6. Place onto a floured surface and knead until smooth.
  7. Roll out to a 1 1/2 inch thickness.
  8. Cut into 2 inch rounds.
  9. -MeatPreparation-.
  10. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  11. Trim the excess fat/tendons off of your beef and cut the beef into cubes about 1 inch in size Toss the beef and the flour together.
  12. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a heavy pan and cook the meat quickly, in small batches, over med-hi heat until browned.
  13. Drain on paper towels.
  14. Heat 1 tbsp oil in pan and add the garlic and onions and cook them for about 3 minutes or until they are soft Put the garlic and onion mixture together with the meat in a large bowl.
  15. Add the jam, vinegar, stock, and chili sauce to the meat and stir well.
  16. Place in ovenproof dish, cover, and bake for 1 hour 30 minutes.
  17. Remove the cover and turn oven up to 475 degrees.
  18. Place your biscuits on top of the meat and bake, uncovered, for about 30 minutes Serve.
