Helmer House S & S Poppy Seed Dressing

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp onion juice (optional)
  • 1 cup canola oil
  • 1 1/2 tbsp poppy seeds

Directions:

  1. Using a mixer or blender, combine sugar, mustard, salt, vinegar and onion juice.
  2. Gradually add the oil until the dressing is thick and smooth.
  3. Stir in the poppy seeds.
  4. Serve over mixed lettuces.
