Ingredients:

  • 2 tlbs. margarine
  • 1/4 cup. water
  • 3 large potatoes ,scrubbed and sliced
  • 1/2 tsp. seasoning salt
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 2 cup. cubbed ham

Directions:

  1. In large skillet over med. heat,saute onions in margarine. When tender add cabbage and stir. Add water,cover and simmer on med. low for 10 mins.
  2. Add potatoes and stir. Cover and allow to simmer for 10 more mins.
  3. Additional water may be needed.Sprinkle seasoning salt and paprika over cabbage and potatoes.
  4. Allow to simmer covered for 5 to 10 mins. until cabbage is soft and potatoes are nearly cooked. mix in ham and finish cooking until ham is hot and potatoes are done.
