Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Saute mushrooms, peppers (sliced into strips), and onion (to taste) in the butter and garlic until reduced a bit (5-10 mins)
  2. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  3. In medium bowl mix the evaporated milk, baking powder, 1/2 tsp of basil and 1/4 tsp of black pepper.
  4. Slice ham into strips (roughly same size as peppers).
  5. Add ham and milk mixture to peppers and mushroom. Saute until bubbly. Cook another 2-4 minutes to thicken sauce slightly.
  6. Serve over pasta. Makes 4 generous servings.
