Green Beans with Tomatoes and Bacon

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Spray a large skillet with vegetable oil spray.
  2. Add bacon and cook over medium heat until bacon is just crisp, about 5-8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Remove bacon from skillet.
  4. Set aside.
  5. Spray skillet with a little more spray.
  6. Add onion and cook over medium heat until tender, about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Add undrained tomatoes,thyme, salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Bring to a boil.
  9. Place green beans on top of tomato mixture.
  10. Reduce heat to low and simmer, covered,until beans are crisp-tender, about 15 minutes.
  11. Before serving,sprinkle beans with reserved bacon and toss gently.
  12. Serve warm.
