Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups oats

Directions:

  1. In a large mixer bowl, combine oil, brown sugar, honey, vanilla, and egg.
  2. Add flour, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Sstir in oats, cereal, and chocolate chips.
  4. Spray a 9 x 13 pan. Press the mixture evenly into bottom of pan.
  5. For chewy bars bake at 350 for 20-30 minutes. For crunchy bars, bake at 300 degrees for about 40-50 minutes.
  6. Cool completely and cut into desired sizes.
  7. You can label and freeze in freezer bags-ours never make it to the freezer!
