Granny's Simple Way Fried Chicken

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Wash chicken.
  2. My Granny always cuts the breast halves in half.
  3. Salt all chicken pieces good on both sides.
  4. Let sit for 20 minutes on paper towels.
  5. Put oil in frying pan and heat to medium high.
  6. Shake chicken in flour.
  7. Carefully add chicken pieces skin side down first and brown on each side.
  8. Turn burner down on medium.
  9. Cook until done. (cooking time varies on different pieces.).
  10. Drain on paper towels.
