Grandma Jane's No-Bake Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cups , oat-meal
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Mix sugar, salt and cocoa in a sauce pan.
  2. Add butter and milk to pan.
  3. Bring to a full boil, stirring to keep from sticking.
  4. Boil for 1 1/2 minutes from when it starts to boil.
  5. Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients.
  6. Stir until cooled and thickened - be sure to stop stirr when it starts to resist the motion or you will over stir!
  7. Drop by spoonfuls on Reynold's Wrap or waxed paper.
  8. Store in an air-tight container.
