Grand Marnier French Toast

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups heavy cream
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 tbsps grand marnier
  • 4 tbsps sugar
  • 2 tbsps orange zest

Directions:

  1. Put 12-16 pieces of French bread in a baking dish.
  2. Mix ingredients together and pour over bread. Put in refrigerator overnight. Turn slices after two hours.
  3. Next day, pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.
  4. Butter cookie sheet and transfer bread. Bake 30-40 minutes, turning halfway through. Return to casserole or serving plate and sprinkle with confectioner's sugar. Serve with maple syrup and orange butter.
  5. Orange Butter:
  6. 6 oz. butter
  7. Juice of one orange
  8. 1 Tbsps Grand Marnier
  9. 1/2 cup confectioner's sugar
  10. Orange zest from one orange
  11. Soften butter. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Form a ball and refrigerate.
