Ingredients:

  • 8 slices italian bread
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Arrange the bread in a large baking dish.
  2. Mix all the ingredients and pour slowly over the bread.
  3. Let it sit overnight in the refrigerator.
  4. Brown each slice in butter on a griddle.
