Glazed Strawberry Bread

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1 -2 drop red food coloring, if desired

Directions:

  1. Combine strawberries, sugar, oil and eggs.
  2. Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes.
  3. Add remaining ingredients, stir until dry particles are moistened.
  4. Pour into buttered 9 x 5 loaf pan.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool upright in pan 15 minutes; loosen edges and remove from pan.
  7. Cool completely.
  8. Mix glaze ingredients and drizzle over cooled loaf.
