Glazed Apple Pie

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp orange juice
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup sifted confectioners' sugar
  • 3 tbsp orange juice

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. In a small bowl, combine sugar, flour, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Blend.
  4. In a large bowl, combine apples, and sugar mixture.
  5. Stir until all slices are coated with sugar.
  6. Spoon into pie shell.
  7. Sprinkle with 2 T.
  8. Orange juice and dot with butter.
  9. Cover with top crust.
  10. Bake 50 minutes.
  11. Mix glaze and spoon over pie while still hot.
