Ingredients:

  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup milk

Directions:

  1. Mix dry ingredients (first 10 ingredients) in a medium bowl.
  2. Store mixture in airtight container. [This is the muffin mix.].
  3. Prepare a gift card with the following instructions:.
  4. Preheat oven to 400°F and grease 12 muffin tins.
  5. In a large bowl, combine the muffin mix with the butter, egg, vanilla, and milk.
  6. Stir the mixture until the ingredients are blended. Do not over mix. The batter will be lumpy.
  7. Fill muffin tins 2/3 full and bake for 15 minutes.
