Ginger Macadamia Apple Crisp

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400.
  2. In a food processor pulse the flour and brown sugar, ginger, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Add the butter and pulse until it's the size of small peas.
  4. Add macadamias and pulse once or twice until well mixed, set aside.
  5. This can also be mixed by hand.
  6. In a large bowl mix apples, crystallized ginger, sugar, zest and lime juice.
  7. Spread mixture into a 3 quart baking dish.
  8. Cover with topping, bake for 50 minutes until bubbling, and top is golden.
  9. Let it cool for 30 minutes.
  10. Enjoy!
