General Tso's Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Directions:

  1. Add the Oil to the WOK.
  2. Add Garlic, Ginger, Crushed Red Peppers,
  3. Stir Fry Two Minutes.
  4. Add the Flour and cook to make a roux.
  5. Add the Butter and melt over Medium heat,
  6. Add the Soy Sauce.
  7. Add Water and wisk until smooth.
  8. Add Sugar and stir until sugar is desolved.
  9. Add Sesame Oil and stir to blend.
  10. Let cook until boils and thickens, stirring constantly.
  11. Remove from heat and serve over General Tso's Chicken.
