Ingredients:

  • 1 medium banana, ripe
  • 1 tsp butter

Directions:

  1. Peel banana and cut in half lengthwise.
  2. Heat butter in a non stick skillet until slightly bubbly but not brown.
  3. Place banana halves in the hot butter and fry for about two minutes, then carefully turn and fry other side for about two minutes, too.
  4. The banana halves should be slightly browned, so fry a little longer if they aren't browned after those 2x2 minutes.
  5. Serve hot, sprinkle with some cinnamon if you wish (I never did).
