Fried Apple Pies

Ingredients:

  • filling
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • crust
  • 1/4 cup crisco
  • 1/2 cup milk

Directions:

  1. Filling:
  2. Cut core out of apples
  3. Put in pan and add water
  4. Boil for about 20 minutes or until water is gone
  5. Add sugar
  6. Mash apples
  7. Add cinnamon and stir
  8. Let cool
  9. Crust
  10. Mix flour, crisco and milk; let chill
  11. Roll out thin
  12. Cut in saucer shapes
  13. Add filling and fold over
  14. Press sides together with fork
  15. Punch holes in top
  16. Fry on medium until brown
  17. Let cool and serve
