  1. In a large sauce pan, add the garlic and shallot to the olive oil and cook for 3 - 4 minutes or until soft.
  2. Add the tomatoes, sugar, basil, tabasco sauce, salt and pepper, parmesan cheese and cook for 15 minutes.
