Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp. butter
  • 2 cup. sugar
  • 6 tsps. orange juice
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup. condensed milk with
  • 1/4 cup. water
  • 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar

Directions:

  1. Mix sugar, butter (melted), milk, orange juice and rind, and cream of tartar.
  2. Cook until mixture forms soft ball in cold water.
  3. Remove from fire.
  4. Add nuts and 1 teaspoon lemon juice.
  5. Set aside until cool.
  6. Beat until creamy.
  7. When firm, cut into squares.
