Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to Gas Mark 3 160C/325F.
  2. In a pan, melt together the margarine, sugar and treacle. See Photo
  3. Add the flour, ginger, mixed spice and baking soda. Mix all together. See Photo
  4. Add the eggs and the boiling water. Mix in.
  5. Put in a greased loaf tin lined with greased baking paper, and bake for 55 minutes. See Photo
