Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 2/3 cup milk

Directions:

  1. Sift together they dry ingredients.
  2. Add egg, melted butter and enough milk to make a moist, stiff batter.
  3. Drop by teaspoon into boiling soup.
  4. Cook, covered without peeking for 18-20 minutes.
  5. Serve and enjoy.
