Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tbsp baking soda
  • 7 oz baker's dipping chocolate

Directions:

  1. Stir together corn syrup and vinegar in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil and cook, without stirring, until mixture reaches 300°F
  3. Remove from heat and quickly stir in the baking soda.
  4. Pour into buttered 9x9-inch square pan.
  5. Cool until hardened, then break into pieces.
  6. Dip into melted dipping chocolate, if desired.
  7. Cool on wire rack until set.
