Fabulous Old Fashioned Popovers

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup canola oil ( you can use vegetable oil if you must)
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla (use the real deal here!)

Directions:

  1. Blend eggs, milk , oil and vanilla by hand with whisk,
  2. Add flour and salt. Mix at medium speed until smooth.
  3. Preheat oven to 425, spray popover pan with cooking oil.
  4. Fill popover cups 3/4 full
  5. Bake at 425 for 15 minutes
  6. Turn oven down to 350 and bake another 25 minutes!
