Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Prepare the cake mix according to instructions on the box (using the number of eggs and cooking oil that it specifies), except substitute eggnog for water that is called for.
  2. Add the nutmeg and the rum extract.
  3. Bake according to the package directions.
  4. (make sure to grease the pan well or use cooking spray).
  5. A Bundt pan works well for this recipe.
  6. While the cake bakes, mix up the glaze ingredients together and set aside.
  7. Once the cake has finished baking, let it cool. If using a Bundt cake pan, remove the cake from the pan and place on a cake plate. Drizzle the glaze evenly over the cake and serve.
