  1. All you do is add at least an extra cup of milk to the pudding mix recipe so it is runny... you can add extra sugar or artificial sweetner if you like. Be sure to beat the pudding with your hand mixer according to the directions and voila, a sauce for bread pudding. Add a little of whatever extract or liquor you want to for a change in taste - like rum for a rum sauce.
  2. Note: we used instant pudding mixes but you can use the kind that needs cooking - just be sure you add enough extra milk so it is runny when cool.
