Easy Oven-Baked French Toast

Ingredients:

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 1/2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 12 slices bread (thick slices)

Directions:

  1. Adjust oven racks, one on lowest position and the other in the middle position.
  2. Preheat oven to 425.
  3. Grease 2 cookie sheets with 2 Tbsp.
  4. Of the above butter.
  5. Beat eggs, milk, powdered sugar, vanilla and cinnamon.
  6. Dip bread in the egg mixture and place on cookie sheets.
  7. Cut remaining butter into pieces and scatter over bread.
  8. Place on racks, bake for 7 minutes, switch cookie sheets and continue to bake for 8 minutes.
  9. Sprinkle with a bit of powdered sugar when done.
