Easy & Delicious Apple Cake With Caramel Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 4 apples (don'tsp have to peel!)
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp clove
  • 1 cup raisins (optional)
  • 1 cup nuts (optional)
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups evaporated milk
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 2 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Stir first four ingredients together.
  2. Add next seven ingredients and stir.
  3. Pour cake batter into a 9x13-inch pan.
  4. Bake at 350° for 55 minutes.
  5. Simmer sauce ingredients in saucepan until thick.
  6. Pour over warm cake after it is sliced and on individual plates and top with dollop of whipped cream-heaven!
