Easy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup margarine or 1 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 2 cups oats

Directions:

  1. Cream together butter and sugar in a bowl, then mix in vanilla.
  2. Add flour and mix well.
  3. Mix together baking soda and water, and then add to the batter.
  4. Stir in the oats and chocolate chips.
  5. Drop by spoonfuls onto a cookie sheet (no need to grease it), and bake at 350° for 12-15 minutes.
