Drunk Cherries Over Ice Cream

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Combine 1-1/2 cups of the cranberry juice, wine, cherries, juice, sugar and cinnamon.
  2. Simmer over medium heat for 20 minutes.
  3. Combine remaining tablespoon cranberry juice with arrowroot and stir until smooth.
  4. Stir mixture into cherry sauce then bring to a boil and remove from heat.
  5. Discard cinnamon stick and allow to cool slightly.
  6. Pour over ice cream.
