Ingredients:

  • 3 1/2 cups self rising flour
  • 2 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 2 1/4 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, cold and cut into pieces
  • 1 1/2 cups milk

Directions:

  1. Combine first flour, baking powder and sugar.
  2. Cut in butter with a pastry blender until crumbly.
  3. Add milk and stir until dry ingredients are moist.
  4. Drop in desired size onto ungreased cookie sheet and brush with melted butter.
  5. Bake at 350 until golden, approximately 15-20 minutes.
  6. *can use buttermilk if you want to make buttermilk biscuits.
