Doggy Peanut Brindle

Ingredients:

  • 5 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1 small apple
  • 2 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 cups water

Directions:

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour, cinnamon, baking powder and baking soda.set aside.
  2. In a food processor, add the egg, molasses, peanut butter, apple, oil, vanilla and water.
  3. Blend together. When mixture is thoroughly blended - add to bowl of dry ingredients.
  4. Combine well and turn out on a lightly floured surface.
  5. Place a piece of plastic wrap or wax paper on top of dough and then roll out dough to 1/4 thickness.
  6. Remove the plastic wrap or wax paper and score dough into 4x3 rectangles.
  7. Spritz the top of the rectangles with water and sprinkle chopped peanuts over.
  8. Press the chopped peanuts in the dough with the palm of your hand.
  9. Bake at 325* for 50-60 minutes.
