Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 cup wheat germ
  • 2 cups cold water

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Scrub potato, peel (optional), and cut it into 1/4 inch pieces so it resembles shoestring french fries. Soak pieces in a bowl of cold water for 10 minutes. Dry the potatoes with paper towels. Coat with olive oil, then dust with wheat germ and sea salt. Place potatoes in a single layer on a cookie sheet and cook for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and reduce heat to 350. Flip potatoes and continue cooking for 15 minutes or until fries are golden brown and crisp.
