Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup flour
  • 4 tsp syrup
  • 4 small apples

Directions:

  1. Peel and core 4 apples. Slice into small chunks.
  2. Mix one 1/2 cup brown sugar, 2 to 3 tablespoons cinnamon, and 1 cup flour in medium bowl.
  3. Mix one jumbo egg and 4 teaspoons of syrup in small bowl.
  4. Dip the apples into the egg mixture and insure all are covered.
  5. Slowly place the apples in the flour mixture and toss until fully coated.
  6. Heat the oil in pan or in fryer until hot.
  7. Place the apples in the hot oil and cook for 3 to 4 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Strain and place on a plate.
  9. Allow to cool before enjoying.
