Ingredients:

  • 1 package 8 oz. dates chopped
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 cup nuts
  • 1 pinch salt

Directions:

  1. Let the mixture of coffee and soda stand over dates while mixing the following..
  2. Add date mixture to second mixture
  3. Bake 300-325 degrees for 1-1 1/2 hours on greased bread pan
