Dark Decadent Brownies With Fudge Glaze

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. On a cookie sheet, toast walnuts until golden brown (10 minutes); set aside.
  3. Grease an 8 square pan.
  4. In a large saucepan, over low heat, warm corn syrup, butter, and chocolate, stirring until ingredients melt and blend together.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Blend in sugar.
  7. Stir in eggs, vanilla, flour, and nuts.
  8. Pour mixture evenly into pan.
  9. Bake just until cake tester inserted in middle comes out clean (20-25 minutes; do not overbake).
  10. In a small saucepan, over low heat, warm corn syrup, butter, and chocolate, stirring until ingredients melt and blend together; add cream.
  11. Spread glaze on warm brownies, then let cool in pan.
  12. Cut into 1 squares.
