Dark Chocolate Ice Cream

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 1/4 cups whole milk
  • 2 tbsp sugar

Directions:

  1. Beat egg substitute with sugar
  2. Heat milk and add egg mixture, beat in cocoa.
  3. Cook until mixture coats back of a spoon.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Combine 2 T sugar and 2 T water and boil until it darkens into a caramel.
  6. Whisk caramel into chocolate base. Chill completely.
  7. Freeze in ice cream maker.
