Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2/3 cup baking cocoa
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 cups hot water
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. combine sugar, flour, cocoa, soda, powder, and salt.
  2. Add butter and hot water. mix well on low speed, batter will be thin.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well on low speed.
  4. Pour into pan, bake 30-35 minutes.
