Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp curry
  • 1-1/2 cups chopped walnuts

Directions:

  1. Cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Add eggs and vanilla and incorporate well.
  3. Sift remaining dry ingredients then add to mixture and combine then stir in nuts.
  4. Divide dough into 4 rolls and wrap each in waxed paper then freeze.
  5. Slice into 1/4 slices while frozen and place on ungreased baking sheet.
  6. Bake at 350 for 12 minutes then allow to cool 2 minutes on baking sheet.
  7. Remove to racks and cool.
