Ingredients:

  • 300 ml water
  • 250 g flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 100 ml milk

Directions:

  1. Dissolve the yeast in the warm water for 10 minutes.
  2. Mix flour, salt and baking powder in bowl, make a well and add milk and yeast mix. Stir to combine and work mixture for 2 mins until elastic dropping consistency. Rest batter 20 minutes.
  3. Heat a cast iron pan, on med, containing 2-3 greased metal rings. pour about 1/2 cm of batter in to each ring. The top surface should become bubbly (if the batter runs under the mould add more flour). Once set remove ring and flip to cook other side for about 3 minutes.
  4. Devour and enjoy :).
