Crumb Topped Banana Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp of vanilla
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon
  • 2 cups of flour
  • topping
  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar

Directions:

  1. Mix the first 7 ingredients in one bowl and set aside
  2. Mix the last 4 in another bowl
  3. Add the dry ingred to the wet and combine
  4. Place into a lightly greased loaf pan
  5. Mix together the topping - should look like small peas when done and place on top of the banana bread (dont mix in)
  6. Bake in a preheated 350-degree (F) oven for 45-50 minutes. or until knife comes out clean
  7. Cool and drizzle icing over the top if desired
