Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1/4 cup plus 1 tbsp apple cider
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • about 4 1/2 cups sifted powdered sugar

Directions:

  1. Combine first 3 ingredients in a heavy saucepan. Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; cool. Gradually add sugar until spreading consistency; beat until smooth. Add pecans.
