Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cook the rice according to package directions. Set aside.
  2. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Peel and chop the onion, adding it to the skillet as you chop.
  4. Add the garlic and nuts, and crumble the garlic cube into the skillet.
  5. Cook and stir until the onion and the nuts begin to turn light brown.
  6. Meanwhile, rinse the corn and peas under cool tap water to begin defrosting. Drain.
  7. When the nuts and onions are brown, stir in the corn and peas. Cook and stir for 1 minute.
  8. Add the cooked rice and continue to cook and stir for a minute or so.
  9. (You may need to add a little more oil to prevent sticking).
  10. Salt to taste if you like.
  11. Serve at once.
