Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup crisco
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 2/3 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 3 tbsp hot coffee
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Combine in order.the crisco, sugar, egg, coffee, flour,baking powder, soda, cinnamon, salt, raisins, and walnuts.
  2. Spread in a greased jelly roll pan -
  3. Bake at 350* for 15 minutes.
  4. Cool in pan on wire rack until thoroughly cooled.
  5. ICING:.
  6. Combine all frosting ingredients and spread on cooled bars -
  7. Let icing set -
  8. Cut into bars or diamond shapes - .
