Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup butter or 1 cup margarine
  • 3 tbsp cocoa
  • 1 cup coca-cola
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup margarine
  • 3 tbsp cocoa
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 6 tbsp coca-cola
  • 1 (16 oz) box powdered sugar , sifted

Directions:

  1. Combine flour and sugar in large bowl.
  2. Heat butter, cocoa and Coca Cola to boiling point; pour over sugar mixture.
  3. Mix buttermilk, eggs, baking soda, marshmallows and vanilla and add to mixture. Mix well. Batter will be thin.
  4. Pour into a greased and floured 9x13-inch pan and bake 30 minutes at 375 degrees F.
  5. Frosting: Combine margarine, cocoa and Coca-Cola and heat to boiling.
  6. Pour over sugar.
  7. Blend with mixer until smooth; add nuts and vanilla.
  8. Pour over cake while frosting is still hot. Cool and cut into squares.
