Classic Easy Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients:

  • 1 (16 oz) can pumpkin
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ginger
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 -9 inch pie crust

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 425 degrees.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, mix together the pumpkin, sweetened condensed milk, 2 eggs lightly beaten, cinnamon, salt, ginger, and nutmeg. Mix together with electric mixter until well blended.
  3. Pour into an unbaked 9 inch pie shell. Bake for 15 minutes at 425 degrees, then decrease oven tempurature to 350 degrees and continue to bake for another 30 minutes. (about 1/2 through the baking time, you might want to add some alum. foil around the edge of the pie crust to protect it from getting too well done.
  4. Let cool ~ and serve with whipped cream, or ice cream. Enjoy!
