Cinnamon Or Fruit Rolls

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups pillsbury's best
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk and water , 1/2 of each
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp lard

Directions:

  1. Sift the flour, salt and baking powder together twice. Cream butter and lard together, and add it to the dry ingredients, using the tips of your fingers. Then add the liquid, mixing with a knife, until you have a very soft dough. Place on your mixing board.
  2. Roll into a 3/4 thick sheet of dough shaped into a square. Spread lightly with melted butter. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar or dried fruit. Roll up like a jelly roll, cut off slices about 3/4 thick and bake.
