Cinnamon Basil Honey

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup honey
  • 1 cinnamon stick ( broken into several pieces)
  • 1/8 tsp clove
  • 1 tbsp brandy
  • 3 basil sprigs

Directions:

  1. In sauepan gently heat together the honey, spices and brandy.
  2. Put the basil sprigs into a sterilized jar and pour the hot honey mixture over them.
  3. Cover and allow the flavor to mellow for about a week.
  4. Use on French toast, pancakes and waffles.
